This was a cute little Italian restaurant on a farm; the atmosphere and the food was both incredible! Our server was extremely nice and spoke great English. I ordered risotto along with chicken on top of tomatoes and I believe my wife ordered ragu. I apologize for not knowing the appropriate Italian names, it was a long trip haha. Everything was amazing and if you were in the area I could not recommend it enough. It is in the Tuscany region so of course all the wine was amazing;. We had a local Chianti. Cheers!!
We had such a good time stopping here with Tuscany tour time with Filippo. Juliano, the winery owner, explained in length the process behind the creation of his wine and we had an amazing lunch afterwards. It was great meeting and eating with them and getting to know the italian way of living and culture. It was very quiet because winter, and it must be packed in the summer no doubt. You need to come here!!
Reservation was online/easy. Views were amazing from our table. It was not crowded at all and we got all the attention. Our waiter, although did not speak fluent English, made full effort to engage.
Every item was FANTASTIC. Pictured: Beef tongue, steak tartar, beetroot risotto (all our new favorite!), spaghetti with truffles -not just some rind...there were chunks - nutty, earthy, flavorful and the taste lingered on, long after the meal. Chicken and sausage was so delicious that my non-chicken eating father-in-law may be a convert now! Lamb with asparagus was delicious and flavorful! Tiramisu and icecream with almond were decadent.
After the meal, we visited the (enclosed and cannot pet) animals on property (turkeys, chicken, donkey, goats etc.). Kids loved feeding the bunnies and climbing up the treehouse!
Not particularly pricey at all. Definitely recommend.
This is one of the nicest places in Tuscany. The food is not super top notch but the passion, warmth and love Anna and Marco puts into this place is delightful. I have been here several times over the years and the food gets better and better each year.
The spectacular Tuscan sunset is unbeliveable from the restaurant, its breathtaking. The quality vs cost is great.
Go visit this place, lots of locals frequent the restaurant so this is good food. Bring your kids, lots of activities for them on site.
BOOK AT THE RESTAURANT OR A WINE TOUR. We kept driving up and down the roads trying to find the winery but couldn't seem to find it. I think it is just where they do the production. We ended up going to the restaurant and met the owner Giulio, who was kind enough to let us in and host us for a personal wine tasting. The wine was delicious and the food was amazing and incredibly fresh!! The view from the restaurant was gorgeous. We also ordered some wine and olive oil to be shipped back home. Highly recommend!!
Very nice view from restaurant, staff is friendly, maybe a Little bit small portions, for two around 70 euros without wine.
This is an incredible place especially for families. Beautiful setting on an interactive farm. There is always something to do. Children can feed and touch the animals or learn about agriculture and gardening. Once a week they have an educational session with donkeys. Children learn about donkeys and are offered rides. Children and parents love the interaction with the animals and the education. Highly recommend this for vacation or even for an afternoon if you are just passing by!
Great food, we especially loved the roasted potatoes and the BBQ plate. The location with the panoramic view is just perfect. We also loved paying a visit to the farm animals after our dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I definitely recommend this place. Especially if your have children, this is the place to be.
